Jerry Orf, PHR, Business Manager/Senior Consultant

Mr. Orf is a seasoned manager with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, Manufacturing Operations and Customer Service/Sales. His experience includes managerial positions in the metals manufacturing industry complemented by a diversified background in the financial services industry.

Jerry began his career in Human Resources where he worked 10 years for the largest North American manufacturer of magnetic steel stampings. From Human Resources he moved into the manufacturing end of that industry, holding managerial positions as Business Unit Manager and Plant Operations Manager over a 13 year period. Upon venturing out of the manufacturing sector he followed his interests gaining experience in the financial services field, and further strengthening his people and sales skills.

In his role at St. Aubin, Haggerty & Associates, Jerry wears a number of hats including Sr. Consultant, Business Manager and HR Director. His consulting expertise allows Jerry to be outsourced as an Interim HR Director to clients in need of leadership during times of organizational transition. He also provides consultation and coaching to candidates in all career search phases; including the resume, cover letter, live interviewing skills, job boards, networking, latest technology, and proper communication etiquette including appearance/body language. Jerry frequently works with graduate students but feels all job seekers at all levels enhance their chances with coaching.

Mr. Orf received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his B.A degree in Psychology from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC), a Board Member of the North Shore Ulster Project (NSUP) and an active supporter of Habitat for Humanity.
